Plain Bending Chip is an uncoated material made from 100% recycled fibers, including a minimum of 80% post consumer waste. It is a light natural brown in color. It is typically produced on a cylinder paper machine that builds up the substrate, layer by layer, until the specified thickness is produced. The surface is usually relatively rough and one side is often treated with "size" to give a smoother surface for appearance and so that simple printing will be legible. We do not manufacture or sell raw plain bending chip cardboard material.

Plain Bending Chip is used in packages and boxes where protection and containment are the primary objectives. Printed boxes using this material usually include very simple graphics without much detail due to the nature of even the sized surface, and few colors since only a few very dark or very bright colors will show up on the light brown background color.
