Solid bleach sulfite is similar in application to solid bleach sulphate (SBS). It's used in a wide range of high-end package and carton applications where exceptional printability is desirable. The primary difference between Solid Bleach Sulphate and Solid Bleached Sulfite is the chemistry used to convert wood to pulp, which is then bleached and made into paper and paperboard. We do not manufacture or sell raw solid bleach sulphite cardboard material.

Both processes result in a highly printable substrate for packages, boxes, folding cartons, and point of purchase merchandising assists. Both sulphate and sulfite sheets are bright white on both sides so that products needing that level of aesthetic appeal achieve their objective.

There are minor differences in strength and convertibility between solid bleach substrates and other materials used in the manufacture of folding cartons. The extra printability and shelf appeal are the main advantages justifying the somewhat higher cost for box, folding carton, point of purchase display and other packaging applications.

SBS is often used as the top layer in a corrugated combination where it's brilliant white surface and better printability help merchandise the box's contents.
